solo exhibition.

"māo pào / meta-poetic transmutation" is a visual arts publication (see publications / māo pào").

 

this was a special occasion where a publication escaped its printed form (the paper) and transformed into an interactive installation. various pieces and objects, physically and/or theoretically related with the publication were placed in a room, giving an extra dimension of materiality in an otherwise 2d visual object. the installation functioned primarely as the #5 issue of the māo pào, equal with its printed counterpart.
